I found the author in the Artists Alley of New York Comic Con and liked her art after looking her sketches, but I did not feel like buying prints and then noticed her book, and thought I'd rather get a comic book from an artist with more content than just a print and took a gamble.I decided to purchase it and I read it on my way home and I have to say, awesome buy!
The author told me these comics are originally parts of her web comics drawn only in black and white, but were water colored for this book. Everything looks very beautiful and colorful, and every story has its own sort of tone to it.
After reading each story, you are left wanting more, so I'm probably going to continue reading on her web comic.
It seems for people of all ages and kids would really enjoy it. Whether or not that type of story is your thing, the art is REALLY nice to look at, so it can be cool just have the book for that reason only.
I liked the extra pages with art sketches and sequences, that was also a nice addition increasing the value.

I enjoyed reading the three stories and the great art work accompanying them. It took me back to reading comic strips in newspapers when as a kid. It has that same warm feel to the story arc and art work that has made them famous all around the world.
The kids of planet earth will enjoy reading them!!
